“Oh, hey there. It’s been a minute.
We’ve been a little busy. (She said exhaustedly as she downed her third cup of coffee before 8:00am).
It is stunning how swiftly the universe launches into action when your intentions are clear. Things. Are. HAPPENING.”

Oh, The Places We’ll Go!
This is a big one, guys. I’m taking deep breaths as I write.
We’re moving.
Kind of.

Hello, Old Friend
Since being on the road I’ve had an unexpected reconnection with an old buddy…

Left Coast Love
Being in Washington and not trying to see ALL THE PEOPLE is really hard. I’ve spent the majority of my life so far living here, and it is filled with friends and family that I love beyond comprehension. Every time we come back I struggle with finding time to reconnect with all of the people I want to see, and this visit is no different.
Except this time it’s really different.

Friends in High Places
Campgrounds are a fascinating place, filled with fascinating people. On the weekends you get a lot of families and other people out for short trips. On the weekdays, when the crowds start to thin out and the weekend warriors go home, that’s when you meet the full-timers.
The people who have jumped off the hamster wheel.
The people who looked at the American dream with the white picket fence and the 9-5 job and said, “hold my beer.”
Weekday campgrounds are filled with brave hamsters fleeing their wheels.
These are my people.
